While you can argue that Queen’s We Will Rock You might be one of the best rock songs of all time; there’s little debate that Bicycle Race, their musical tribute to two wheels, is THE greatest song about bicycling ever. It’s an ode that delivers the sense of an epic ride (clothed or otherwise, as the classic cover art would suggest) in a little over three minutes—there’s the back-and-forth of the chase, the slow steady climb; and, finally the flat out sprint.
This is a great song to include in a cycling music mix that you listen to while in the saddle. And it’s bound to put a smile on your face and help with your cadence through even the hardest slog.
